Centralised Security Monitoring for a Global Dairy Brand on AWS

Established in 1954, KRI KRI is a leading Greek dairy company — producing ice cream and yogurt from 100% Greek milk — that has grown into an internationally recognised brand with exports to markets including Japan and the USA, driven by double-digit revenue and profit growth.

As KRI KRI accelerated its modernisation journey on AWS, building a highly available, performant, and cost-optimised cloud environment, security became a critical priority. The company needed to reduce risk across its AWS estate with expert-curated controls and built-in compliance mapping for standards including GDPR and CIS. Manual security processes could not scale with the pace of growth.

Specifically, KRI KRI needed to automate SOAR workflows (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response), streamline data ingestion from multiple AWS services into a unified SIEM and ticketing pipeline, and gain a single dashboard to aggregate, prioritise, and visualise security findings across all accounts and resources.

LCM Go Cloud designed and deployed a centralised Security Monitoring and Incident Response dashboard across KRI KRI's AWS accounts — providing a unified view of security events and incidents across the entire cloud infrastructure and all applications.

The architecture consolidates data from multiple sources — VPC Flow Logs, DNS logs, CloudTrail logs, and runtime environments — into a single pipeline, providing deep insight into potential threats and vulnerabilities. Security findings from Amazon GuardDuty, Macie, Inspector, Config, Firewall Manager, and IAM Access Analyzer flow through AWS Security Hub and Amazon EventBridge into Amazon Detective for investigation and Amazon QuickSight for visualisation.

The solution delivers three distinct security capabilities working in concert: Prevention — continuously checking security posture and adherence to strict standards; Identification — using ML and AI to detect abnormal events and generate alerts for immediate remediation; and Remediation — providing prioritised recommendations and automated incident response integrated with ticketing and SIEM tools. Amazon Detective then enables root-cause discovery for complex incidents, diving deeper with AI to improve future prevention strategies.
